James F. Lewin represents lenders, servicers and investors and related business entities in state and federal court in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy and unlawful detainer with approximately twenty (20) years of experience. James specializes in defending national mortgage lenders and mortgage loan servicers against borrower actions alleging lender liability, wrongful foreclosure, title claims, loan servicing claims and violations of state and federal statutes. In the bankruptcy area, James specializes in the areas of relief from the automatic stay, objections to plan confirmation and defense of objections to secured and unsecured claims. James is admitted to practice law in the states of California and Washington and before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, Eastern and Central Districts of California. James is also admitted to practice before the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and has served on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Bankruptcy Forum.
